GULET

The most popular type of traditional boat for the “ Blue Cruise “ is the Gullet. It is a cruising boat with large, rounded stern area which is well- suited for comfortable eating and launging.
Gullets usually have ketch ( marconi ) or schooner ringing, with one, two or three fore sails.
A perfect gulet will have the bottom of the hull in the form of a reversed S and cross – timbers should be laid on the slant.
Making a gullet takes about one and a half years, including the cabin, and the price. Their lengths change between 15 to 33 meters and  they accommodate 6 to 16 persons in 3 to 8 double bedded cabins with private shower and WC.

AYNAKIC


The Aynakıc is almost same of a Gulet but the main difference is  a raised, squared – off stern that allows space for additional cabins below. There may be a large master cabin at the stern. The aynakiç has more cabins. The accommodate 8 to 24 persons in 4 to 12 double beded cabins with private WC and shower. The size  of the aynakic is between 18 to 33 meters.

TIRHANDİL

The tirhandil is the oldest style of local wooden boat with a pointed stern which is suited best for sailing. Double – ended traditional design allows for only a small number of cabins. It is having two masts, a bow spirit and lateen sails. It is beak – nosed with a scoop stern and sample interior capacity. The size of the tirhandil is between 12 m. up to 20 m. And accommodate 6 to 8 persons in 3 to 4  double beded cabins with private WC and shower.

KETCH


A two – masted fore – and – rigged sailing vessel with a mizzen mast stepped aft of a taler mainmast but forward of the rudder.
If it has two masts it is a ketch or a yawl. With a ketch the mast is in front of the rudder. Usually very elegant boats they can be a bit of a handfull to sail.

YAWL


A two – masted fore – and – rigged sailing vessel similar to the ketch but having a smaller jigger – or mizzenmast stepped abaft the rudder. The yawl is a fairly distinctive boat, usually having a small mast perched on the stern. Often these in gale force winds with only the storm jib and the mizzen mast rigged.

SAILING BOATS

Nearly, every modern sailing boat uses technology to make sailing a more leisurely pursuit. A small sailing vessel, usually with a single mast. Typically fitted with a fixed keel below the waterline to counter balance the overturning force of wind on the vessel’s sails. Today most people enjoy sailing as a recreational activity. Recreational sailing can be further divided into “ racing “ and “ daysailing “. The ones who want to race, use speedy sailing boats. The ones who want to do recreational activity, use slowly sailing boats with comforts
MOTOR  YACHT


When the time and speed matters the best choice may be a motor boat. They are usually double engined for cruising at a higher speed to extend the cruise distance. Motor boats are equipped with modern navigation systems available to charter generally with crew.
